Last week, our ELO group conducted research on plastic pollution, followed by a school-wide survey to determine the number of disposable water bottles saved by using our water fountains.
The incredible result: 186,263 bottles and counting! 🌍💧♻️

Attention Nighthawks!
We are excited to announce that this year National Junior Honor Society has partnered with Maple Star, a local foster parent organization, for the Giving Tree this year. Each tag on our tree will provide a single child from our community with an enchanted Christmas morning.
When pulling a tag this year, we ask that you purchase at least two gifts (you can always give more!) for the child to open. In years passed, our giving tree has been broken down by individual items rather than individual children. This year, each child will only be represented by one tag so no one else will be purchasing items for them, leaving the magic of Christmas for your selected child in your hands. Not sure you want to commit to a full sponsorship, grab some friends and pair up to give the gift of Holiday Spirit!
Our 5th-grade STEM class is in the midst of an exciting "survival" unit called "Lost in the Amazon!" 🌿🌄
This week, they put their creativity and problem-solving skills to the test by building and testing makeshift shelters to see how they fare against the rain! 🌧️🏕️
