7th graders spent last week honing their team-building skills at the UNC Ropes Course! Ground games improved communication skills, problem-solving, and encouraging each other (sometimes while passing a rubber chicken down a conga line). Challenge by choice had some students doing some amazing acrobatics on the high elements, with others cheering them on from below. We had a blast and learned a lot about ourselves and group dynamics.

It's "Iggy Peck, Architect" week in the K-3 STEM Lab, and our aspiring architects have been busy designing and building bridges to help Iggy's friends cross the river. It is so amazing to see the things they engineer!

What do you do when Denver Nature and Science Museum gives you 24 hours to be panelists for a LIVE interview with astronauts from the International Space Station? You find a way to make it work! The 7th grade MS team and New Vision pulled off some creative scheduling to pack the house so that interested students could hear questions and comments with astronaut KaChun Yu and his crew LIVE via Zoom from the ISS. Watching the backflips and floating food plus getting a close-up perspective of these highly trained professionals in action was inspiring and amazing. Be sure to ask these lucky 7th graders about their take on space! - Lisa Easton
